Doing the “full Clovis”

Like many, I edged into Clovis — Clovis schools while living in Fresno. (For the record, three kids with Clovis school diplomas — one a police officer, another a Navy medic, the last a school teacher).

Then I moved into Clovis.

But you do not arrive — arrive — in my mind, until you have purchased Western wear. Maybe it was in anticipation of the launch of ClovisIndependent.com but, whatever, I now have boots, tails, two bolos.

Not bad for a tenement kid from Brooklyn, NY, who calls California — Clovis, California, home. Ya think?
