Highlights from March 18

SOFTBALL
Vinnessa Johnson and Jasmine Bustamante each drove in a run in the second inning to help McLane defeat Hoover 2-1 in a nonleauge game.

Chelse Roberts drove in Kapri Angotti in the bottom of the ninth inning, lifting Clovis past Bullard 4-3 in game one. The Knights defeated the Cougars 2-1 in the night cap of a nonleague doubleheader.
