Superintendent Dr. Terry Bradley presents the successes and future challenges of CUSD at Education Luncheon

The Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce and Educational Employees Credit Union will present the second annual State of Education Luncheon featuring Clovis Unified School District  on Wednesday, April 29 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Tornino’s, 5080 N. Blackstone Ave.

Superintendent Dr. terry Bradley will address key issues facing the district today and in the years to come. Clovis Unified School District educates more than 38,000 students in our community. The district is one of the state’s premiere K-12 school systems. Nationally recognized as a leader in public education, the district is dedicated to encouraging students to be the best they can be in mind, body and spirit. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear D. Bradley before he retires on July 30, 2009. The district’s new superintendent, Dr. Dave Cash, will be introduced to the community for the first time.

“It’s an important event for our community. Education of our young people is critical to the success of our families, to our business and to our community as a whole. We want to continue to put edication first in our community,” stated Al Smith, president and CEO of the Fresno Chamber.

With strong support, we’ve started this annual event to address the state of education in the Fresno County area. Each year the event will highlight a different district, which provides a forum for the community to hear the issues surrounding the district.
