Support Clovis Area Recreation With Tax Deductible Donation

In Clovis, we take great pride in “the Clovis Way of Life.”—building a safe, prosperous, and family-oriented community Recently, the Bee reported on the imminent closing of the Clovis Rec Center, a casualty of the current recession. The article noted that, like many communities, Clovis has had to shut down recreation programs for many young, elderly and cash-strapped residents despite record attendance. As a result, The Clovis Community Foundation is helping to help fill this temporary need by setting up a special account for those who want to make a tax-deductible contribution to support the activities of the Clovis Rec Center. Any amount would be appreciated. Just make your check payable to The Clovis Community Foundation (www.cloviscommunityfoundation.org) and put “Clovis Area Recreation” on the check memo line. Not a penny of your contribution will go to The Clovis Foundation—100% of your donation will go to the activities of the Clovis Rec Center. Let’s all do our part. Our community is what we make it. In these tough economic times, please consider what you might do to make Clovis an even better place to live, work and raise a family.
