Clovis couple robbed on Barstow Ave.
Clovis police are searching for a man believed to have taken part in the armed robbery of a couple late Friday night in the 600 block of West Barstow Avenue.
The couple told police they were walking near their apartment about 11 p.m. when they were confronted by two men armed with handguns. One of the victims tried to flee, but was chased and caught by one the suspects, police said.
The men took money and personal items from the victims, then fled into an apartment complex, police said. Neither victim was hurt.
Clovis police, with the help of a Clovis K-9 and a helicopter from the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, found and arrested one of the suspects, a 26-year-old Fresno man.
The second suspect is still being sought. Anyone with information should call Clovis police at (559) 324-2800.

One Response to Clovis couple robbed on Barstow Ave.
The community of Clovis has stepped up to help out on several financial situations. What about if Clovis police had some sort of web site where suspects are profiled to better serve the community safety and the police department. There are alot of eyes out there. It was a concern not to have any idea of what this suspect looked like. Something like crime stoppers. When I read about the 27 gang related members arrested, I was wondering where do the rest live or hang out. Thank you.
