GIRLS TENNIS
Robin Draper and Michelle Frea, in singles and doubles, completed unbeaten North Yosemite League seasons as did Memorial as a team in a 9-0 win over Madera South. The Panthers are expected to be seeded behind defending champ Redwood and Garces in the section Division II tournament, beginning next Tuesday.

Buchanan overcame a win by Central’s Dao Chang in No. 1 singles to defeat the Grizzlies 8-1 and close Tri-River Athletic Conference play at 9-1.

Sophomore Pookie Gonzalez coasted 6-1, 6-2 in No. 1 singles as Bullard closed a 10-0 County/Metro Athletic Conference campaign by topping Sanger 7-2.
