Sexual Harassment Training provided by Clovis Chamber

In 2004, AB1825 was signed into law that required companies with 50 or more employees have their supervisors take part in a prescribed sexual harassment training course every two years. New supervisors must receive the training within 6 months of employment

The Clovis Chamber along with the California Chamber of Commerce is offering an online version of the training course to local businesses. Instead of going to an off site conference your supervisors can fulfill the requirement from the convenience of their offices or homes.

Simply go to the Clovis Chamber web site at www.clovischamber.com and click on the calbizcentral link.

Although the requirements are for supervisors in companies of 50 or more, the course can be taken by anyone. New business owners who are starting to hire employees may want to make sure they understand all the laws and regulations concerning sexual harassment. Likewise, some companies may want their employees to be reminded of what can and cannot be done in the workplace.
