3 men arrested on suspicion of vehicle burglaries

Fresno police arrested three men Sunday night they say may be responsible for numerous vehicle burglaries at shopping malls in Fresno and Clovis.

A 21-year-old man was taken into custody after he was seen behaving suspiciously near the movie theater at the Manchester shopping center about 9 p.m. Two other men in a van were stopped nearby. The three admitted breaking into cars at the Sierra Vista Mall and River Park as well as Manchester, Sgt. Chris Desmond said.

Anyone who has been a victim of a break-in at the malls may be able to find out if their property has been recovered by contacting detectives at (559) 621-6434 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
