BOYS BASKETBALL
Jackson Carbajal and Alex Fertig each scored 20 points as Buchanan downed Sacred Heart-Atherton 49-33 at the Scattini Holiday Tournament in Salinas.

The 1-2 punch of Jesus Rico (17 points) and Ken Buchnoff (15) powered Kerman to a 61-52 victory over Fowler at the Mendota Tournament. Ryan Yriarte scored 16 points to lead Dos Palos past Fowler 77-51.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Yosemite won twice at the Lady Wolves Holiday Tournament in Henderson, Nev., getting 34 points from Sydnee Fipps in a 73-49 win over Desert Pines-Las Vegas and 16 points from Sienna Gonzales in a 53-42 win over Marina-Huntington Beach.

Toni Murphy’s 17 points paced 10 players who scored for Madera during a 53-39 nonleague victory over Golden Valley.
