Highlights from April 26

SOFTBALL
Dom Selby hit a home run, Jennifer Maynez doubled twice and drove in three runs and Natalie Rendon pitched a two-hitter as Buchanan remained on top of the Tri-River Athletic Conference with a 9-2 win over Clovis.

Shae Ortega singled in Kayla Barber and Jessi Wallace with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to lift Liberty-Madera Ranchos to a 6-5 win over Washington in the North Sequoia League.

Jordan Yates pitched a shutout, and Savannah Ibal had two hits and an RBI as Kerman beat Chowchilla 2-0 in the NSL.

Sydnee Fipps hit a walk-off, two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh, sending Yosemite to a 5-4 NSL win over Sierra.

BASEBALL

Travis Walker made himself a complete-game winner by hitting a three-run, walk-off homer in the bottom of the seventh as Kerman topped Chowchilla 4-3 in the North Sequoia League.

Casey Chenoweth struck out nine in a complete-game effort and hit the go-ahead RBI double in the fifth as Sierra downed Yosemite 2-1 in the NSL.
