2 bodies found at Clovis apt. complex

The bodies of a man and a woman were found early this morning at a Clovis apartment complex, and police are investigating the deaths as possible homicides.

The victims appeared to have suffered from gunshot wounds, Clovis police spokeswoman Calli Biaggi said. There are no suspects, she said.

Police found the bodies after responding to a report of a disturbance about 12:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Music Avenue.

A neighbor who said he knew the man and woman said he was horrified when he heard the news. Jesse Satteson, who said he lives just north of the apartment complex where the shooting took place, said the couple “were good people. They always seemed happy.”

Another neighbor, who said he didn’t want to be identified, said the man and woman had three young daughters.

Police are expected to be at the site for several more hours.
