17-year-old boy shot at party in Clovis

A 17-year-old boy was shot at a party early Sunday near Gettysburg Park at Burl and Indianapolis avenues, according to Clovis police.

The teen was shot shortly after 3 a.m., with the bullet hitting his upper arm and torso. He lives at the home on the 2900 block of Armstrong Avenue where the large party was held.

No adults were home, and partygoers had fled by the time police arrived.

The teen is in stable condition with injuries that are not life-threatening and is expected to recover.

Officers ask that anyone with information about the shooting call the department at (559) 324-2800.
