Senior Center Offers Thanksgiving to families, individuals, seniors
On Thanksgiving Day, November 25th, the Clovis Senior Center, Salvation Army and Pappy’s Fine Foods will be holding their annual community Thanksgiving feast at the Clovis Senior Center (850 Fourth Street). Lunch will be served at noon. This free event is open to all ages, and entire families are welcome.
For more than 20 years, this community project has provided scrumptious meals and fellowship to seniors, families and individuals. With so many people struggling to cope with the difficult economic times, we expect a considerable crowd and a larger need in the community this year. Tickets are not required. Just join us at the Clovis Senior Center by noon on Thanksgiving Day.
Meals will be delivered to the homes of Clovis residents who are frail or disabled and unable to attend the event at the Clovis Senior Center. For more information on the home delivered meals or the Thanksgiving event, please call the Clovis Senior Center at (559) 324-2750.
Note: Your contact on Thanksgiving Day is Shonna Halterman at 907-6002.
