Fresno/Clovis visitors bureau names leader

Layla Forstedt has been appointed as the executive director of the Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Forstedt, a 30-year veteran of the hospitality and marketing industries, was the bureau’s interim executive director before the board of directors voted Wednesday to give her the job on a permanent basis.

The bureau was previously known as the Fresno Convention & Visitors Bureau.
