Help sought to identify Clovis crash victim

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office is trying to find relatives of a man killed in a traffic crash Wednesday night in Clovis.

Police say the 66-year-old man drove a Dodge Caravan into a light pole at Herndon and Temperance avenues at 9:30 p.m.

Investigators found no evidence that the man tried to brake or avoid the collision, spokeswoman Janet Stoll-Lee said. The man was taken to Clovis Community Medical Center, where he died.

He is believed to be from the San Francisco Bay Area.
