Clovis police arrest car burglary suspect

Clovis police reported the arrest of a burglary suspect Friday night at a vehicle storage lot near Gettysburg and Clovis avenues.

Responding to a tip about 7:30 p.m., officers found a 47-year-old man rifling through a vehicle inside a fenced and locked lot.

The suspect surrendered and was taken into custody.

Authorities are investigating to determine whether he is involved in previous burglaries in the area.
