Coach Looking For Winning Ways

Staff Writer – Clovis Sidekicks
After today’s 4-2 loss against the California Storm, the Clovis Sidekicks are indeed searching for the missing link that holds key to win their first match of the season. In a match where the Sidekicks were still trying to find their feet in their fifth match of the season, it was apparent there were problems which need to be rectified.
The problems which plague the Sidekicks, whether it be defensively, in the midfield, or offensively, are affecting them in a way that has led them to five straight defeats and leaving them in last place in their conference. Other problems that have affected Sidekicks Head Coach Erik Pottorff is his selection of players, which have decreased due to many of them having commitments with other club teams within the state.
As the Sidekicks encounter formidable opposition in their match tomorrow against the San Francisco Nighthawks, they will be looking to break their duck and win their first match of the season. The Sidekicks know that a win or loss tomorrow will define the rest of the season, whether it be for the better or for the worst.
