Central California Amateur Softball Association’s Western Regional Nationals returns to Fresno
The Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitors Bureau (FCCVB) has worked with, Clovis Unified School District, the City of Fresno and its lodging partners to once again secure the Central California Amateur Softball Associations (ASA) 10U & 12U Western Regional Tournament.
“This is a great example of how this community can come together to achieve success even in these difficult times” says Layla Forstedt CEO of the FCCVB.
The Tournament will bring approximately 84 teams consuming an estimated 1,200+ sleeping rooms, with an economic impact of $250,000. After an opening ceremony on Tuesday at Chukchansi Park, games commenced at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Buchanan Sports complex in Clovis. Championships will be held on Sunday Aug. 7.
The general public is encouraged to support this event with their attendance.
