Local briefs: Reward offered in Friant trout heist

The California Department of Fish and Game will give up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft of about 1,000 trophy-size trout from the San Joaquin Hatchery in Friant early Sunday.
