Clovis police issue 116 citations
Clovis police issued 116 tickets last week in the department’s back-to-school detail. There were 51 tickets issued for cellphone use and 23 for speeding. Other tickets were for seat-belt and child-restraint-seat violations, entering crosswalks with pedestrians and illegal parking. Last year, Clovis police officers issued 81 citations during the same period. The Fresno Bee
