Sierra Cup band results

The results are in for the Sierra Cup Classic marching band competition this past weekend at Fresno State.

The competition featured more than 30 high school bands and is considered to be one of the largest shows on the West Coast, said Gary Gilroy, Fresno State’s director of bands and one of the event’s organizers.

Here are the results:

Division A: 1. Los Banos; 2. Exeter Union; 3. Ceres; 4. Modesto; 5. Thomas Downey (Modesto); 6. Grace Davis (Modesto).

Division AA: 1. Clovis North; 2. Clovis East; 3. Live Oak (Morgan Hill); 4. Golden West (Visalia); 5. Hanford West; 6. James Enochs (Modesto); 7. Mt. Whitney (Visalia); 8. Mission Oak (Tulare); 9. Central.

Division AAA: 1. Beyer (Modesto); 2. Kingsburg; 3. Madera South; 4. Sanger.

Division AAAA: 1. Oak Grove (San Jose); 2. El Diamante (Visalia); 3. Lemoore; 4. Buchanan; 5. Lynbrook (San Jose); 6. Liberty (Bakersfield); 7. Tulare Western; 8. Bullard; 9. Tulare Union; 10. Arroyo Grande.

Division AAAAA: 1. Amador Valley (Pleasanton); 2. Clovis.
