Justin Moore at the Clovis Rodeo

The Clovis Rodeo has announced the performer for its annual concert during rodeo weekend.

Justin Moore, known for songs such as “Small Town USA” and “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” will perform on April 27.

The show begins after that night’s rodeo concludes. Tickets are on sale now, costing $15 and $27. The $27 tickets are reserved seats for both the rodeo and the concert.

Tickets are available online at clovisrodeo.com or by calling (559) 299-5203.

Sublime with Rome Fresno-bound

Sublime with Rome — the new incarnation of Sublime — and Everlast will join forces for a March 13 gig at Fresno’s Rainbow Ballroom.

Tickets for the show cost $45 and are on sale now at timgardeapresents.com.

Hard tickets are available starting Saturday at Valentino’s, SBI and The Rainbow Ballroom.

Sublime with Rome includes original Sublime member Eric Wilson on bass. Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh was with the band too, but left in late 2011.

Rome is singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez, who fills the void of famed Sublime singer Bradley Nowell. The band got started in 2010 after a 14-year Sublime absence. It released a new album, “Yours Truly,” in 2011.

Everlast, meanwhile, is the former House of Pain rapper turned rock/blues singer. He had his biggest success with the 1998 song, “What It’s Like.”

The March 13 Fresno concert is open to all-ages.

Sounds of Mardi Gras

The Fresno Dixieland Society’s annual Sounds of Mardi Gras festival is right around the corner — scheduled for Feb. 9-12 at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Fresno.

The festival includes a number of traditional jazz bands, both from the touring circuit and locally.

There’s a Thursday night pre-party, a Saturday night masquerade parade and a Sunday wind-down dinner.

Tickets are available now, costing $20-$35 per day or $80 for the entire weekend. Details: (559) 292-3999, fresnodixie.com.

Around town

Maverick’s Coffee House in Visalia, which books Western acts, has landed a date with The Haunted Windchimes, who have been heard on “A Prairie Home Companion.” The show is Feb. 18. Tickets cost $20. Details: (559) 624-1400.

Audie’s Olympic hosts quirky singer/songwriter Jenny Owen Youngs on Feb. 25. By then, Youngs will have just released her new album, “An Unwavering Band of Light,” which is due Feb. 7. Tickets cost $5-$10 at ticketfly.com.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra — which combines break beats with vintage pop harmonies — makes a return trip to Visalia’s The Cellar Door on Feb. 28. Tickets cost $7 via ticketweb.com.

The Cellar Door also has a recently added March 6 date with indie folk/country band Blitzen Trapper. Also on the bill: Howlin’ Rain and the Parson Red Heads. Tickets cost $10 and are available at ticketweb.com.

The March 12 date with singer/songwriter William Fitzsimmons, previously announced for Neighborhood Cafe, has been moved to Starline. It’ll still be an all-ages show, just with no bar. Tickets are on sale now at ticketfly.com for $15.
