New corral helps SPCA care for rescued horses
Eighteen neglected and malnourished horses found in December at two farms in Fresno County have a new home with the Central California SPCA.
A new corral for the horses was unveiled Thursday morning.
The arena, built by Royal Stall of Sanger, was made possible by a donation from the Ted Martin family through the Fresno Regional Foundation.
The arena will help the SPCA juggle the 30 horses in its care and help the horses get the exercise and increased handling they need as they recover.
The horses were found within a week on farms in Clovis and near Riverdale.
