Actress will honor DSACC Volunteers
This year’s Down Syndrome Association of Central California’s (DSACC) Sweetheart Luncheon on February 11th, brings an extra special treat designed to honor the DSACC volunteers. Fresno’s own Zara Arboleda will team with Lauren Potter, the actress who plays Becky Jackson on the top-rated show, Glee, in a tribute to all those who selflessly volunteer throughout the year. Every day in the Valley, these very special people choose to set aside their own plans and responsibilities, and open their hearts for those living with Down syndrome.
Please help honor the volunteers and organizations who have supported the Down Syndrome Association of Central California. Join us at our 3rd annual Sweetheart Luncheon, Saturday, February 11th. The festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with registration and a silent auction, followed by a fashion show where honorees are escorted by their friends with Down syndrome and lunch at 11:30, at the International Catering at North West Avenue and Ashlan. Tickets are $40 a person, and sponsorships are available starting at $500. Following the luncheon, there will be a Meet and Greet with Lauren Potter at Fresno’s Break the Barriers, located at 8555 North Cedar Avenue, just north of Teague.
