GOLF: LEN ROSS JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

Vitals: Today through Thursday at Airways, Fig Garden, River Park, Riverbend and Riverside golf courses.

The skinny: The four-day tournament features golfers from ages 7 through 17 in five boys’ and four girls’ divisions.

Last year’s winners who are returning: James Trevino (Clovis West) took the boys 14-15 title and now will compete in the 16-17 division. Hannah Sodersten (Clovis East) will defend her title in the girls 15-17. And Krista Twet (Buchanan), who won the girls 12-14, will challenge Sodersten in the 15-17 division.
