I Bike Fresno presents: 7th Annual Kaiser Permanente Bike to Work Day Corporate Challenge on May 23

I Bike Fresno, a campaign aimed at getting Fresno County residents on their bikes, is encouraging people to ride their bikes and participate in the 7th Annual Kaiser Permanente Fresno Bike to Work Day Corporate Challenge on Wednesday, May 23.

In years past, this event has attracted nearly 800 bicycle riders who bike to work and compete against other local companies for the most miles ridden. This year’s event is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente Fresno. Companies are encouraged to register a team at www.bike2workfresno.org. Raffle prizes, including a new bicycle courtesy of Sunnyside Bicycles, plaques and bragging rights are at stake. Rest stops and fueling stations will be placed throughout the community that morning.

Additionally, participants can log their miles ridden at www.ibikefresno.org to count towards the Million Mile Challenge.

I Bike Fresno was founded in 2010. I Bike Fresno is a campaign and resource to show Fresno that the bicycles not only a recreational item, but a tool for transportation, independence and joy.
