Search crews find lost Sierra hikers from Clovis

Four Clovis fishermen who got lost Saturday while hiking back to camp from Upper Twin Lake, in the Kaiser Wilderness, were found early this morning by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team.

The search began around 6 p.m. Saturday when the fishermen called for help, said sheriff’s Lt. Patrick Hanson.

The trails were difficult to find because of melting snow and the fishermen got turned around, Hanson said.

The search and rescue team found the men around 3 a.m. Sunday, he said.
