The Clovis Rodeo Association elected its 2012 Board of Directors. They are: Charles Rigsbee, president; Greg Gillard, vice-president; Susan Frantzich, secretary; Joan Lassley, treasurer; and board members Lynn Armstrong, Vern Barkman, Joe Billalba, Gary Bower, Lynn Button, Ron Dunbar, Richard Egan, Ken Elliott, Vince Genco, John McIssac, Dan Rigsbee, Radar Ryan, Mike Spears and Mark Thompson.
Vickie Goudreau was honored as the 2012 Central California Women in Business Champion of the Year by the Fresno District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration. She was selected because of her outstand- ing advocacy efforts and commitment to support women entrepreneur-ship.
Jeffrey Webster was presented the Community Transportation Manager of the Year Award from the Community Transportation Association of America. It is presented each year to honor a community transportation manager for demonstrating leadership and vision while providing a transportation service that is an integral part of the community.
Fresno State president John Welty was presented the William M. Lyles Vision Award for his contribution to advancing entrepreneurship throughout the Central Valley. The Vision Award is made annually as a tribute to the leadership provided students, the community and the region.
Melissa Burgers has joined United Valley Insurance Services as a marketing representative. She brings with her 18 years of industry experience, 10 of which involve underwriting various lines of insurance.
Brett Todd has joined the Office Properties Group of Colliers International as a sales associate.
