River Park Golf Center
Mommy/Daddy and Me Class: 10 a.m. Friday for ages 3-6. Cost: $20 per class.
Junior camps: June 25-28, July 9-12, July 25-28 and August 6-9, 9 a.m.-noon. On the first three days, campers learn fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play and the full swing. What’s new: Get Golf Ready is a program designed to teach the skills needed to play enjoyable golf after just a few short lessons. Lessons are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursdays (July 5, 12, 19, 26 and Aug. 2); 5:30 p.m. Fridays (July 6, 13, 20, 27 and Aug. 3); and 10 a.m. Saturdays (July 7, 14, 21, 28 and Aug. 4). Sierra Meadows CC
Upcoming: From June to November, Sierra Meadows will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a $25 rate on the 25th of each month (regular $55 weekday, $65 weekend). Advance reservations required. Call the Pro Shop for more information or tee times. Sierra Meadows also has opened a 50-site RV Park next door with free hookups, showers, restrooms, coin-op laundry and free WiFi.
