River Park Golf Center
Junior camps: July 25-28 and Aug. 6-9, 9 a.m.-noon. On the first three days, campers learn fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play and the full swing. Demos: River Park has the newest and best equipment to demo at no cost from Taylor Made, Titleist, Callaway and Ping. There are also custom club-fitting sessions by appointment.
Memberships: Get use of exclusive members-only area on the east side of the facility, $200 in range credit with a 10% discount on each bucket purchased, free golf before 1 p.m. Monday-Thursday and reduced rates at all other times, and a complimentary club fitting valued at $75.

Other noteworthy
Make his a triple: James Trevino, a junior at Clovis West High next year, just missed the cut in the Fresno City Amateur but over the next three weeks may have more than made up for it. Playing on three different courses in tournament conditions, he had holes-in-one each time — June 13, Rancho Canada Golf Course in Carmel, No. 16, 154 yards, 8 iron; June 19, Lemoore Golf Course, No. 7, 171 yards, 6 iron; June 28, San Juan Oaks in Hollister, No. 16, 137 yards, pitching wedge.
