Dick’s Sporting Goods to open at Clovis Crossing

Dick’s Sporting Goods will open its new store at 1225 Herndon Ave. in Clovis at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The store is the first to open in the Clovis Crossing Regional Shopping Center at Herndon Avenue and Highway 168. It will be joined by a 212,000-square-foot Walmart Supercenter, Petco, Home Goods, Famous Footwear and other retailers.

The Dick’s grand opening starts Friday with a ribbon cutting at 8 a.m.

Grand opening events include a visit from former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dwight Clark from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and a visit by former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Fred Biletnikoff from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.
