Dick’s Sporting Goods to open Visalia store

A new Dick’s Sporting Goods in Visalia will open at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Gateway Plaza shopping center at 3637 S. Mooney Blvd.

The store’s grand opening starts at 8 a.m. Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The three-day grand opening festivities include gift card giveaways and a visit by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jeff Garcia from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The Visalia store is the 23rd Dick’s store in California. The new Clovis store opened at Herndon Avenue and Highway 168 earlier this month.
