Sanger woman, 77, killed in Clovis car crash

A woman who died in car crash at the intersection of Herndon and Fowler avenues Saturday evening was identified Sunday as Patricia Gast, 77, of Sanger, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s office.

Gast was a passenger in a vehicle that was hit by another vehicle Saturday. The Clovis Police Department has not shared what caused the crash.

Fowler Avenue and the westbound lanes of Herndon Avenue were closed to traffic for several hours after the crash Saturday.
