Fire reports
The Clovis Fire Department responded to 170 calls for service between April 28 and May 4. The calls included two structure fires, two vegetation fires, three refuse fires, two vehicle fires, three hazardous conditions calls, 18 public assistance calls, 133 medical aid calls, one miscellaneous fire and six false alarms.
Thefts and vandalism
Clovis police reported eight vehicle burglaries and 50 thefts last week, which included seven residential burglaries, four identity thefts and 25 petty thefts. There were six people arrested for petty theft.
There were 21 reports of vandalism to vehicles or property.
Items taken during the thefts included bicycles, radar detectors, Sago palm tree, boots, food, golf clubs, a front door mat from Long John Silver's, package and toilet paper.
DUI arrests
The Clovis Police Department reported 17 people were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication last week. Six people were cited for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Arrests
Clovis police reported 32 people were arrested on warrants for various crimes or violations of probation or parole last week.
Twenty-nine juveniles were arrested or received a citation last week on suspicion of various crimes including assault with a deadly weapon, battery, being out of control, burglary, driving without a license, loitering with the intent to commit a crime, vandalism, receiving stolen property, petty theft, drunken driving, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, running away, possession of tobacco, driving with an open container of alcohol or drugs and forgery.
Eighteen people received citations for driving while their licenses were suspended or for driving without a license.

Micah Gabbard, 23, of the 1300 block of Minnewawa Avenue, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia.
April 25
Jesus Arguello, 22, of the 3900 block of East Saginaw Way, Fresno, committing a nuisance in public.
Brian Roth, 28, of the 300 block of East Bullard Avenue, giving false information to an officer.
Mandi Wilson, 29, of the 3400 block of East Clinton Avenue, Fresno, burglary.

April 27

Jose Hernandez, 39, of the 400 block of West San Gabriel Avenue, possession of a controlled substance.

Vehicles
There were 11 reports of traffic collisions, six with injuries.
Four stolen vehicles were recovered by Clovis police and other law enforcement agencies last week.
