OBITUARY
Friday, Jun. 13, 2008Yoshito Takahashi
A remembrance will be held 2 p.m. June 14 at the Fresno Buddhist Church (Annex Building), 1340 Kern St., Fresno, for Yoshito Takahashi, 87, of Clovis. Lisle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Takahashi, a retired farmer of 60 years, died June 3.
In 1977, Mr. Takahashi was named Clovis "Citizen of the Year" and was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 1979.

Funeral services were held for Robert J. Jones, 80, of Prather. Boice Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Jones, a farmer and cattle rancher for 52 years, died May 28.
He is survived by a brother, Richard V. Jones Jr., of Prather; and three nieces, Kathryn Owens, Susan Carcelli and Carolyn Vellutini.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. May 23 at Boice Funeral Home for Barbara J. Crowell, 77, of Clovis. Boice Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Crowell, a realtor in residential real estate for 20 years, died May 16.
She is survived by a daughter, Elaine A. Cookingham, of Salem, Ore.; two sons, James F. Crowell, Jr., of Fresno, and Thomas A. Crowell, of Fresno; a sister, Marjorie Sassano, of Fresno; two brothers, George Montross, of Kingsburg, and Robert Montross, of Ann Arbor, Mich.; and two grandchildren, Paul and Emily Cookingham, of Salem, Ore.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. May 16 at the Academy Cemetery for Margaret Helen Tolle, 92, of Sanger.
Mrs. Tolle, a registered nurse and hospital care employee for 30 years, died May 8.
She is survived by a son, James R. Tolle, and his wife, Mary, of Sanger; a daughter, Joan Tolle Jarvis, of Fresno; four grandchildren, Cindy Jarvis Ames, Carey Jarvis Parrish, Elizabeth Rose Tolle and Steven Shumway Tolle; and seven great-grandchildren, Madison Ames, Spencer Ames, Connor Ames, Megan Parrish, Kate Parrish, Emme Parish and Carley Parrish.
